Help to Buy

Purchase a new home using Government- backed "Help to Buy" scheme

Help to buy is a Government-backed initiative created to help home buyers into a new-build home with a smaller deposit.

The Mortgage Guarantee Option

This kind of mortgage works exactly the same as any other kind of mortgage except that under this scheme the Government offers the mortgage lenders the option to purchase a guarantee on mortgage loans

  • Because of this support the lenders are able to offer a high- value- to- loan mortgage (80 -95%)
  • You will still be fully responsible for your mortgage repayments. So if you have a 5% deposit you will need to take out and repay a 95% mortgage
  • For further details see Help to Buy website or ask our sales representative

The Equity Loan Option

With this option the government lends you 20% of the cost of your new build home and you will only need a 5% cash deposit and a £75% mortgage

  • You won't be charged loan fees on that 20% for the first 5 years
  • You will still be fully responsible for your mortgage payments
  • For further details see Help to Buy website or ask our sales representative
  • Whether you are looking to move up the property ladder or a first-time buyer the Help to Buy scheme is available on all our homes
